At the end of every month, retail sales are collected for each book.  Profit checks are sent when the retail sales, minus the cost of the download ($1)  cross the $40 threshold. For example if your ebook sells for $5, then you must sell 10 ebooks to cross that threshold.  $50 in sales minus $10 in costs. We have 2 systems for payment, PayPal, which allows us to pay you monthly or checks, which are mailed quarterly.  Author profit checks for ebooks will be mailed out at the same time the profit checks for the printed books get sent. This usually happens quarterly on the 15th of the month depending if it falls on a weekday or not. If it falls on a weekend or holiday, profit checks are processed and mailed the following business day.
