These instructions will show you how to get a shortened URL for your book. Members have been asking for shorter URLs than the ones they can copy from their browsers and this will provide the shorter URL they have been requesting. Use them anywhere you need (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, other web sites, etc.) and the user will be taken directly to your book in our bookstore. 

1. Login to TheBookPatch.com by entering your email address and password and clicking the Log In button at the top right.

2. After you log in you will be redirected to your Book Dashboard page. Click on the book details button to access your book’s detail page.

3. Scroll down to the Publishing Status > Publishing Complete section and click the label titled “Get a shortened URL for this book”.

4. Here you will get the shortened URL you requested. Copy the text from the text box and paste it where you need to use it.

5. Click the Return to Book Detail Page button once done.
